DECOPROYEC sprayed cork is an environmentally friendly coating composed of a mixture of various ecological materials such as: natural cork from the bark of the cork oak, cellulose present in plant leaves, water-based acrylic emulsion and organic pigments and inorganic.

DECOPROYEC sprayed cork is a material with a solid component (cork) and a liquid component (resin). In the product, the resin acts as a binder, offering cohesion to the paste, allowing the workability of the cork as well as unequaled aesthetic and durability properties, while the cork is evenly distributed in its application thanks to the binder, offering all its properties of a continuously and providing its durability.

The main advantage of applying this product is that, being a coating, it also offers important waterproofing and insulating properties, as well as being flexible and breathable.

DECOPROYEC sprayed cork, due to its properties, becomes a solution that supports external agents very well, since being waterproof does not undergo changes in state when wet. Its breathability means that it does not suffer detachment from the support due to water vapor, its elasticity allows it to withstand the effects of frost and dilation in summer and the great adherence to any support allows it to be a long-term solution for your building.

Mode of application

DECOPROYEC sprayed cork is packaged in light plastic bags, manually sealed and inserted into the covered and sealed containers. It comes in 12 kg buckets. The product preparation process consists of removing the product from the plastic of the container and beating it until the necessary fluidity and density are achieved.

DECOPROYEC sprayed cork is applied with a special spraygun. The surface, before application, must be dry, clean and healthy, in the case of cracks they will have to be sealed with putty.

Termination

The DECOPROYEC sprayed cork finish is grainy and decorative, along with waterproofing properties and high breathability. This allows it to be used in all construction sectors, with a recommended thickness of 3 mm.
